November 2018 Wrap Up

Hey everyone!

This wrap up is going to be pretty short because ya girl was busy this month and barely got any reading done. Whoops. I will say that I’m writing this post with a few days left in November, so I might finish a book or two before the end of the month. For example, I started Outrun The Wind by Elizabeth Tammi this morning and I’ve already read almost 50 pages of it. I’ll throw anything I finish after this point in with December’s wrap up. In November, I read 6 books with an average rating of 4.5 stars. My favorite read this month was definitely Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, though I also adored Pulp by Robin Talley. Do y’all want a discussion post/review of Song of Achilles? I don’t usually review backlist titles, but I definitely would love an excuse to gush about it. Anyways, here’s what I read this month:

(A Late) October 2018 Wrap Up

Hey everyone!

This is more than a week late, but better late than never, I suppose. In the month of October, I read 9 books. My average rating was 4.56 stars, so it was another good month. I tried to read some spooky books, and I ended up reading a few! Here’s a look at the last month in books for me:

September 2018 Wrap Up

Hey everyone!

It’s officially October, but before we can jump into spooky month, I’ve got to talk about all of the books I read in September. There’s a slight chance I might finish The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein later if I get a chance to sit down and read, but I’ll just throw it in with October’s wrap up. According to Goodreads, I read 12 books this month somehow. Honestly, I’m still behind on my Goodreads goal, but seeing just how behind I was kind of spurred me on. Anyways, my average rating was 4.42, so it was a month of quality AND quantity. As always, I’d love to hear about what you read this month. Feel free to tell me or link your wrap up posts in the comments! Here’s what I read:

July 2018 Wrap Up

Hey everyone!

It’s been about a billion years since I did a wrap up. Okay, it’s been a few months. But still. I didn’t read very much this month, but I did read, so that’s a minor improvement from prior months. I read a total of 3 books, with an average rating of 4 stars. I hope to get a bit more reading done in August, as things will start to slow down for me. Without further ado, here’s the few books I read in July.

And that’s all I read! July was a busy month for me, not to mention the fact that I was still coming out of my funk that started in June. I plan on reading a lot more during August. So, what did you read this month? Anything good? Tell me about it!

March 2018 Wrap Up

Hey everyone!

Let’s pretend that this post isn’t late, okay? My life has been totally crazy, leading me to take an unexpected two week hiatus. I’m back now, and ready to talk about the books that I read in March. I read 10 books in March, with an average rating of 4.3 stars. That’s quite a few books for me, so I’ll get right into them.

February 2018 Wrap Up

Hey everyone!

February is already over, so it’s time for my wrap up. I didn’t get to read very much this month, due to Mother Nature deciding we needed 7 inches of rain in one day and my basement attempting to convert itself into an indoor swimming pool. Anyways, I ended up reading 4 books, with one being a reread (The Diviners). My average rating was 4.75 stars. Without further ado, here they are:

January 2018 Wrap Up

Hey everyone!

Somehow, the first month of 2018 is already over, so it’s time for my January wrap up. I’m writing this a few days before the actual end of the month, so I *might* have technically finished  another book by the end of the month, but I’ll just throw it in with February if I do. I won’t tell if you don’t. đŸ˜‰ As of right now, I finished 9 books this month, with an average rating of 4.56 stars. I read SO many amazing books this month, so most of them were 5 star reads. It was an awesome way to kick off 2018, and I hope this good book trend continues. Without further ado, here’s what I read:

December Wrap Up

Hey everyone!

Settle in, because it’s time for you to experience a visual representation of me frantically trying to complete my Goodreads reading challenge. I read a whopping 22 books this month. Granted, I cheated a bit and read some novellas and shorter works, like poems and plays. BUT I COMPLETED MY GOAL. Anyways, my average rating ended up being 3.86 stars, so it was a slightly above average month overall.

And there it is! I read a lot of pretty good books last month, but holy crap, I don’t think I’ll be reading 20+ books in a month again anytime soon. So, what did you read in December? Anything good?

November 2017 Wrap Up

Hey everyone!

Somehow, November is already over, so you know what time it is: wrap up time. In November, I read 12 books, with an average rating of 3.83 stars. 12 books in a month is awesome for me, considering how slow I’ve been reading. I’ve been really trying to catch up with my reading goal, and I’m going to have to read even more in December to try and complete it. I’m actually scheduling this a few days ahead of time, so I may read a book or two more before the month is over. If I do, I’ll just add those to my December wrap up. Well, that’s enough babble from me. Let’s get to the books. As always, the cover of the book will either be linked to Goodreads, or my review if I have one.
